Open the WhatsApp conversation, tap the contact name, choose "Export Chat" then "Without Media." A .txt file is created and shared via email, drive, or other apps.

The chat file you upload is processed in memory and not stored by default. After extraction completes, the file is discarded. If you enable conversation history in Settings, the parsed text is stored encrypted for up to 14 days so you can review it alongside your drafts.
